Every WageScape report runs on the same real-time, forward-looking pay data that powers our platform. Here's exactly where the numbers come from.
Our figures are drawn from advertised pay in public-facing job postings, aggregated through MarketTrak. We track millions of new postings each month across every industry and location.
We report advertised pay — the rates employers publish when hiring — on an aggregated, public-postings basis. It is a leading indicator of where pay is heading, not a survey of what individuals currently earn.
Because postings are captured continuously, our reports reflect what is happening right now and signal where pay is going — not where it was a year ago.
Every report states its period and sample size (n) and cites WageScape / MarketTrak as the source. We report aggregates only and never expose any individual's compensation.
